Disney Interactive Studios has appointed Dan Tudge as vice president and general manager of Propaganda Games, Disney Interactive Studios’ development studio in Vancouver, British Columbia. The announcement comes today, April 20.
Tudge will oversee the operations of the 130-person studio, as it’s developing two unannounced games.
He comes with more than 13 years of experience in video game development. His most recent role was executive producer and project director at BioWare Corp., where he managed both the Dragon Age: Origins and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood teams.
He will report to Mark Meyers, vice president of North American production, Disney Interactive Studios.
“Dan will play a crucial role in the continuous evolution of Propaganda Games as a premier game development studio,” says Jean-Marcel Nicolai, senior vice president of global production, Disney Interactive Studios.
Prior to his role at BioWare, Tudge was president and executive manager of Exile Interactive and worked in a range of senior leadership and creative roles at Relic Entertainment and Morgan Media. He also managed his own successful independent studio, which eventually became Exile Interactive.
