Angry Monkey Entertainment (AME) has announced that the comedy motion picture “Baby on Board” will premiere in digital, E-Cinema theaters in select U.S. markets on April 24.
The picture stars Heather Graham, Jerry O’Connell, John Corbett, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Katie Finneran in the story of a professional woman (Graham) whose career and personal life are turned upside-down by an unexpected pregnancy.
Directed by Brian Herzlinger, it’s an independent production from A Plus Entertainment, Big Shoot Productions, and Entertainment 7, produced by Russell Scalise and Emilio Ferrari.
The film was shot on location in Chicago, Illinois. It’s being released theatrically by AME and has been rated R by the MPAA for crude and sexual content, nudity, and language.
AME says it implements encoding and digital compression technology to conform film releases to a standard approaching the quality of D-Cinema.
E-Cinema theaters, AME says, circumvent D-Cinema’s corporate licensing restrictions and subsequent revenue loss to theater owners. As reasonably-priced HD projectors and servers allow smaller regional theaters to embrace E-Cinema, affordable content can extend the use of these installations beyond pre-shows and corporate presentations.
AME says it has managed the work flow and delivery of 35mm film prints and D-Cinema 2K resolution or higher, but its primary focus is offering cost-effective E-Cinema solutions and high-quality content to filmmakers and exhibitors.
I am really looking forward to seeing this movie!
I found a trailer online at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To-ZrqT5ndM&feature=channel
I would love to have a list of theaters that this movie will be playing at so we can see it.
It says a “limited” release, which usually means that it won’t be playing in a lot of theaters. Usually just one or two theaters in an area per city.
The scene with the two hot dancers was very, very hot. Will we be seeing more of the two young ladies in future productions. The dark hair female looked great on my computer screen.
Any chance of seeing more of her in more reveling clothing.
Thanks,
