Fox Mobile Distribution (FMD) has signed an exclusive worldwide agreement with the Lingerie Football League (LFL) to offer exclusive content related to the inaugural season of the LFL on its Jamster mobile content service. Under the agreement, FMD also obtains the exclusive rights to distribute content on-deck through carriers.
LFL content includes wallpapers, video clips, and interviews as well as behind-the-scenes footage. New content and applications will be continuously updated on Jamster throughout the season, says Fox Mobile. Fans can also get exclusive content related to the LFL mini-camps and practices, which begin April, 2009.
Both sides – Fox Mobile and LFL – are excited, they say.
The first season of the LFL kicks-off September 4.
What’s LFL? Coming from the Super Bowl halftime alternative, the Lingerie Bowl has become a staple of Super Bowl Sunday festivities. The LFL will begin with ten franchises competing through a 20-week season, featuring some of the most athletic and beautiful women playing 7-on-7 tackle football set in top arenas and stadiums, explains Fox Mobile.
The games, it says, will be played on Friday nights, culminating with the annual Lingerie Bowl, February 7, 2010 at Bank Atlantic Center in Miami, FL.
